High-quality flooring is more than design
True sustainability begins with materials designed to live many lives. The STELLAR collections, made in Europe, are crafted as genuinely responsible flooring solutions, developed with a circular approach in mind. As fully recyclable products, they can reenter the manufacturing cycle rather than becoming waste like traditional wood planks or stone tiles, helping to reduce environmental impact. Each board is made with recycled content and engineered using ecofriendly materials, reflecting our commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design. The result is a highquality surface that supports more responsible use of the planet’s resources.
Choosing a responsible, healthy floor made in Europe means choosing materials crafted in-house under strict environmental standards and using shorter transport routes. We source, process, and manufacture our floors, and transport them locally - ensuring responsible production practices for both people and the planet, and using 100% renewable energy in the plant. Our flooring emits just 7.39 kg CO₂e per m² over its full life cycle - one of the best performances in the industry for comparable products. By keeping everything close to home we reduce transport emissions, support ethical manufacturing, and meet some of the highest environmental standards.
Circularity guides every step of our journey. Thanks to our responsible clickflooring system, GenClick®, which leaves no adhesive residue at the end of its life, each board can be easily lifted, reused, or recycled into brand new flooring through the ReStart® programme. This pioneering takeback initiative, created by Tarkett, supports efficient postconsumer waste management and ensures valuable materials are not lost. By embracing ecofriendly principles and closing the loop, we ensure our flooring can reenter the cycle rather than be discarded.
Our recyclable flooring boards begin with a clear intention: to create healthy, ecofriendly floors that feel good underfoot and are kinder to the planet. Each Mineral Core Board contains 28% recycled material and is composed of more than 70% mineral content - mainly nonrare minerals such as chalk - helping preserve natural resources. It contains no heavy metals, biocides, or phthalates. By choosing this thoughtfully engineered surface, you bring sustainability into your home in a way that feels effortless, beautiful and genuinely responsible.
Indoor air quality plays a crucial role in creating a healthy home environment, and flooring is an important part of that equation. Some materials can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that accumulate indoors, affecting well-being over time. Our floors are engineered to support better indoor air quality, manufactured without harmful substances and designed to meet exceptionally lowemission criteria. Their VOC emissions are up to 10 times lower than the strictest international standards. This commitment to sustainability goes beyond environmental responsibility - it helps protect the health of everyone living on these surfaces.
