Material selection
The stunning realism of Mineral Core Board comes from selecting only the very best raw materials. Our designers across Europe begin by carefully choosing the perfect wood plank before highlighting its unique character using traditional wood-crafting treatments and finishes. For instance, the people behind our Parkway Oak inspected over 5000 wood boards to find the most flawless range.
Our designer’s wood-brushing techniques reproduced on Mineral Core Boards
Using traditional woodworking techniques, our designers can vary the amount of wood that is brushed out. Lightly brushed wood has a shallower variation in depth, whereas deep brushing produces a much more noticeable tactile feel. Our teams have expertly treated real wood planks to produce the desired effect using techniques found throughout carpentry. The final finish is then recreated on top of each mineral core using 3DTouch technology.
Unmatched realism
Our woods have been carefully treated using artisanal techniques to enhance their natural essence. Just as craftsmen would. After scanning, no retouching is made, no artificial alterations are added, no imperfections are removed. We print the decor directly onto the mineral core and apply the texture in 3D using breakthrough brushed lacquer technology 3DTouch. This ensures an unmatched level of realism: each mark and grain is true to nature.
INVISIBLE PATTERN REPETITION
Each design features over 40 distinct wooden floorboard variations, covering a 12 m² area, to replicate real wood flooring . All these planks have different textures, shades, and grain patterns, eliminating any noticeable repetition in the visual layout.

Wood species
The most popular choice for wood floors is oak parquet planks. Oak is known for its characteristic straight, dense grain and organic texture and occurs naturally in a range of natural patterns and hues. Traditionally, oak has been used throughout the home for furniture, building frames, and facades due to its incredibly strong and resistant nature.
StellarCraft is exclusively based on oak planks, with all the raw materials our designers work with grown in Polish forests. After being processed by our teams, each real floorboard’s unique structure and pattern is reproduced directly on top of one of our Mineral Core Board planks.
