Regular day-to-day cleaning
STELLAR floors are among the easiest modular floors to keep clean, thanks to their waterproof construction and smooth, sealed surface that gives dirt and bacteria nowhere to hide — making them far easier to maintain than solid wood or ceramic tiles. For everyday care, a simple sweep or vacuum usually suffices. When wet cleaning is needed, use a damp microfibre mop with clean water and a small amount of pH neutral all-purpose cleaner (pH 7–8). Finish by rinsing with fresh water to remove residue and keep your floor looking pristine.
Every spill tells a story, but none need to leave a trace. Removing stains from this long-lasting flooring, even those that are stubborn, is easy with simple cleaning tips and tricks:
Oil, vinegar, wine or citrus stains: use warm water mixed with a detergent.
Ink and dark fruit stains: apply diluted alcohol, allow to sit for a few minutes, do not scrub, then rinse with fresh water.
Pen and marker stains: rub the area with a cloth dampened with white spirit, then rinse well with water.
Rust: use an anti-rust sponge and rinse with water.
Cleaning scuffs and stains from your STELLAR floor is simple thanks to its Tektanium® protective layer. Unlike natural materials, it won't absorb spills, making everyday maintenance straightforward. If any liquid is dropped, start by spot cleaning with a damp cloth and a small amount of neutral detergent. Gently work from the outside of the stain towards the centre to avoid spreading it. Once the mark has lifted, rinse the area with clean water and wipe dry to restore the floor's fresh, even finish.
